Are you ready?

The first day of fall is fast approaching!  Sept 22nd is the day.  I know. I know.  I have been posting about fall for a few weeks now.  I can’t help myself.  I love fall.  I really need to be making items for Christmas but fall is on my mind.  I can’t help myself.  The colors are so gorgeous.   All the colors in Fall leaves.. Which brings me to my projects today.  =)

Paper Fall Leaves Wreath.

This Wreath is completely constructed out of card stock.  I cut out various styles of leaves on my cricut in all the beautiful fall colors.  I then used a metal wreath form  and began to attach the leaves with hot glue starting on one side and working around until a shape I was pleased with was formed.  Such an easy project and a beautiful result.

I then stained a piece of wood I had and made this wall hanging.  I added some pretty fall floral’s and used gold glitter vinyl to make the word Grateful.  It turned out really pretty!

Next I stained a small piece of wood and created a fall sign.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects for the day.  I am happy with the results.  I especially love that wreath.  I plan to take extra special care of it and use it for many years.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!!

and these beautiful flowers and pumpkins =)

I Just love that sparkly pumpkin!!! It really added some great texture and design to my arrangement.  I started off arranging my pumpkins.  Then I added in the larger flowers and some of the greenery.  It started to really take shape at that point.   I then added in the tiny rosebuds and the white bushy stems until it was completely filled in.  It turned out beautiful.  I was very happy with the result.  What do y’all think?  I would love to hear your opinions.

I then had a unfinished banner that I had painted out a week ago and I decided to finish that project.  It turned out super cute.

Cornucopia, Horn A Plenty

Hello Everyone.

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, today I am here to talk about the Cornucopia.  My project for today.  The cornucopia has long been a symbol of American thankfulness. It’s a reminder of all the good things in life.  Throughout history it has been a symbol for luck and prosperity.  It is even a symbol on the Wisconsin and Idaho flag!

So, this Thanksgiving why not share a toast to good luck and prosperity and have a cornucopia around for luck!!

Autumn, Harvest, and Fall

All words to describe my favorite time of the year.  Today I was inspired to make a few projects and spent a big portion of my day happily crafting away.  I started with this project.  A Fall banner.

I started the project with an unfinished wood banner, some twine, rose buds,  a small grapevine wreath, some fall leaves, gold ribbon, and I cut out on my cricut the words fall in gold glitter vinyl.  Then I spotted that cute wooden owl in my supplies.  I plucked it out and went to creating.  I decided to paint my wood banner a pale green color.  It looks really pretty with the golds, yellows, and oranges.   I have to say the finished product is really pretty.  I just wish the picture would do it justice.  It is hard to take pictures of glitter vinyl.

I received in the mail some pretty new Fall burlap sunflowers and I was excited to use them.  I also had some nice wood lettering that I had been wanting to use also.

I sure love my glue gun! I ended up creating this pretty fall wreath.  Eat Drink and Be Thankful.   A nice sentiment for family gatherings.  I can smell all the yummy smells and taste all the yummy flavors just thinking about fall.  Makes my mouth water.  Hurry up fall!!!!!!

My 3rd project =) My f avorite of the day I think is full of beautiful bling, fun, and cuteness.  I love how it turned out.

I know I said it was my favorite but I also decided to make a project for myself.  I found this really pretty terrarium at my local Wal-mart.  It is a new item.  They only had one, darn the luck.  I had purchased these succulents a few weeks back so when I spotted it, I had to get it.  I already knew exactly what I would do with it.  I also found some pretty reindeer moss and grabbed that too.

This is how it turned out.

I hope you have all enjoyed my projects today.  I had a lot of fun working on them today.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!!
