You can all thank Hobby Lobby for this post. They have had their Christmas out for at least a month already. I was shopping there a few weeks ago and I couldn’t help but browse the Christmas sections. Course browsing turned into buying and I ended up making two wreaths that you can find here. https://craftyboutiquebytam.wordpress.com/2017/09/02/busy-busy-week-much-needed-break/
While I was there I found a few cute items that I thought I would play around with. One was a wooden christmas tree. I had some supplies lying around. I gathered up some nice christmas garlands and berry picks. I then dusted off my cricut and went through my vinyl and picked 3 colors. A silver, a glitter gold, and a glitter bronze. I just love the stained wooden christmas tree’s decorated with words so I decided I would pick a few words out. I chose Joy, Noel, and Peace. I took measurements of each section and made my words to fit. I then added some pretty Christmas garland and some berries. I had this metal star in almost the same color as my stain that I wanted to use but it blended too much. I ended up painting it red. That was the touch it needed. This is how it came together. I hope y’all like it.
When I stained all the wood I stained several projects at once. I also ended up completing all of these.
I might visit Hobby Lobby again tomorrow for more wreath supplies. I wonder if I can stick to my shopping list?
I hope you all have a fantabulous day. Until next time.
Tam =)
